WEB-BASED OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH


Safety and health is important to the employee in an organization.  When there is accident and illness due to the work it becomes a burden to the employee since it involve money or we can said it costly for them.  However, an organization that consider about their employee safety and health will took an action on how to manage the safety and health of the employee. 
In addition, it also beneficial for the company if the number of accident and illness occurred at the workplace been reduced.  Thus, the organization can retain and remain their profit.  Otherwise the company needs to bear with the cost since if accident happened works must be stop for a while.
Occupational safety and health involves policies and procedures that help an employee to prevent them from being injured and becoming ill due to the hazards in the workplace (Friend & Kohn, 2010).  In the workplace employee been exposed to many types of hazard that could bring harm to their safety and also health.  One of the hazards is the physical and mechanical hazards. Machine, noise, temperature and also electricity for examples.   There were also biological and chemical hazards which are bacteria, fungus, heavy metal and also acids.  Thus, an organization needs to manage the safety and health at the workplace.
Before this, an organization tends to send their employee to the workshop and seminar to ensure the employee knows how to manage the safety and health at the workplace.  However with the application of the web-based occupation safety and health, the safety and health can be manage easier and faster.   Furthermore, it can ensure that every employee can be train by using the web based OSHA expert compliance assistant system.  The system will help the employee by providing a to-do list to manage compliance.  Therefore, the risk to expose to danger at the workplace can be reduced.
Other than that, by using the web-based occupation and health in the organization lots of time can be save.  This is because an organization does not need to had their employee to attained any seminar or workshop in order to teach them about the safety and health at the workplace.  Moreover, by installing the right web-based occupation safety and health application it can ensure that every employee understands on how to use the compliances at the workplace safely.  Thus, they how important to work in a safety environment.
